And the IVIG sounds nice! Aside from the headaches... And the bankruptcy part.

Well bloods are done now, going home to have a sleep & wait for the nurses call. Been awake since 2:30am agh, the steroid insomnia has hit.

Huge congrats on such a great number Legwarmer, so excited for you!!!! take some magnesium it will really help with the insomnia and also the steroids deplete you of that and it's very important for bub! Bioceuticals Ultramusclease is really good!

Dr M said for me to do scratch cycle prior so I am having scratch on 5th of November I think - Genea FS said I could do either that or day 5 of cycle, I think that is their new protocol they are having success with but I was worried about flaring my CD57s so wanted to do what Dr M advised... I hope I'm doing the right thing in having it - although I emailed Dr Sher and Dr Braverman and they both said scratch would do no harm with CD56 uterus, although Dr Sher doesn't believe the scratch helps!

My next cycle will be in November, I'm on the pill now and am going to try to control the timing of everything IVIG, neupogen etc this time as it's truly our last shot and I'm getting a bit scared really but trying to focus on things that keep me calm.

Ladybug I have gone dairy free after your comment about doing that! I feel great! Sad but true as I just adore dairy... hoping it helps us get PG!

Hi to everyone else, what's news???

@miissalina thanks so much and sorry to hear you've been struggling lately. I've always thought that infertility and trying to conceive feels like you're in a jungle and you can't see if there's a clearing ahead or if you're just walking into denser forest. I'm glad that today you feel a bit brighter though. I sure hope this embie stays for the long haul, then it would feel like all the pain and heartache was worth it in the end.

Thanks @PreciousHeart I will get some magnesium tomorrow. Insomnia is OK while I'm off work for 2 weeks but so not OK for when I have to go back. I don't know if it's the steroids or the nerves/excitement of the last few days. Maybe both. My prednis dose went up last week so thinking it is that.

I'm praying with all I've got for your last cycle to work out. You're certainly doing all that you can & giving it all you've got and that is really all that you can do. You are so together and brave, and you've had a rough couple of months.

Although I wish no woman had to be in this situation, my fertility struggles have led me to meet so many courageous and brilliant women who are also going through it. I really think we deserve some kind of medal! Or at the very least, a special magical surprise in the afterlife that nobody else gets to have.

Can you let me know so I can let her know (or PM me).

Bbhope... yes, I've cried and sobbed and howled over not having DH's bio child. Then months more crying, sobbing and howling for not using my own eggs, but with time things have been getting better, so hopefully they will too for you.
MGC Bertie.. We are seeing Dr. Nicholas Lolatgis at Monash IVF. He does the same protocol as Dr. M so she should be able to get all treatments from him too.

    Hi All

can anyone please tell me how many times do you do intralipid and IVIG after Egg Transfer ? What does Dr. M recommends his patients to do?
My ET is this Sat and I've had 1 x intralipid and 1 x IVIG last week.
    thank you!!

Legwarmer I just remembered waking up around 3am is pretty much an early pregnancy sign : ) don't worry it will soon be replaced by falling asleep at 6pm for a few months!!! Of course the steroids don't help! Enjoy! Your story is an inspiration to all of us xxx

Hi Babychino! generally after embryo transfer you wait for BFP and then if you get it and your HCG number is doubling as it should, then Dr M would get you in for IVIG or Intralipid 4 or 5 weeks after you last had it... of if you didn't have it before transfer, then maybe straight away on BFP... then you might need more every 4-6weeks depending how you are going... I haven't been through all this yet, am just going on what I know from other ladies here.

    Hope that helps?!
