Hi Scruffy neupogen is one week before transfer & in my research on it I found lots of studies that it improves lining thickness... If you have CD 57 you should probably be on Dex from what I know... Let us know how you go xxx

    Hi everyone!!!

Hope you all are doing well. Sorry for not being active now a days....bit depress of negative results every month 😔. From next month Dr m. Put me on IVF infections (see attached picture) with very less dosage. Does anybody had this before & worked? Plz advise me. Also let me know if anybody after neupogen, have some extra. I got it from overseas.

@Scruffy, I did viagra pessaries to try and increase my lining this last cycle. They did work quite well. Have a look at Dr Sher's website for info about them. They are expensive tho. About $8-9/pessary and I was on 2xdaily for about 2-3 weeks. Might be worth asking about though. I'm not sure if the neupogen injections help lining or it's just the uterine washes-which I don't think Dr M does.

Do you do natural or medicated FETs? Could add Progynova (estrogen) which may help lining.

I'd be pushing to try the Dex. It's my understanding that you can build a tolerance up against the pred.

Are you doing gluten free? I also try and avoid dairy-except for Greek yogurt.
@Pihu, sorry no experience with low dose ivf meds. Wishing you the best of luck though.
@Scruffy and @Nidhulaine, can you remember the billing system for Dr M for pregnancy management? Just got an unexpected $650 bill for first trimester management. I just assumed it would be normal phone consult charges-G hasn't mentioned anything else! Of course it's the same week we paid the insurance and a huge dental bill!

ladybug used dr M for reproductive stuff as well as seeing a high risk OB. To use anyone as an OB you have to pay a management fee. I have to pay my management fee on top of my OB visits and also my immune visits to dr M.
For my management fee it was $1000, $1000 and $1,200 at 20, 25 and 30 weeks. If ur in the eastern sub or city centre you will pay a lot more but my OB is kogarah based. U need to call G and get a schedule of Dr M OB fees.

I used Neupogen 2 cycles in a row and actually was concerned that it thickened my lining so much. I was 14mm before my iui (2nd cycle I took it on) when u only need to be 8 at that stage before ovulation(implantation doesn't happen for at least another 5 days). I have not had lining problems before but whether you use it as a wash or inject it Neupogen creates a much better lining.

Ah Ladybug now I have to go diary free!!! I've been considering it again, I just freak out about the dex sapping calcium.. but I will do as you do and cut it out except for greek yoghurt - I'm already gluten free... figure have got to try absolutely everything to my utmost ability for the final shot.

Wow first trimester management fee, that's the first I've heard of that - is it because you are interstate do you think? has anyone else been billed for this? Strange you weren't told it was coming, you should have been alerted to it when you got pregnant! Are you going to get one for 2nd and 3rd trimesters too even though he isn't your OB??? you should clarify it all with them asap I reckon (and let us all know too!) Surely if Dr M isn't your OB as you live in Perth and Hong Kong, then you shouldn't be charged a management fee - management fees for OBS are only due by 20 weeks pregnancy anyway... weird.

Can you also build up a tolerance to dex then? I feel like my body is really used to it compared to when I first took it and I was climbing the walls...

Pihu, sorry can't help you with any of that, have never been put on either of those as have always done full IVF protocols with Genea, good luck, I've been wondering how you are and where you'd got to, nice to hear from you again!

Actually PIHU, we've mostly all used the ovidrel pen with IVF cycles - ovidrel is HCG and is used to trigger ovulation at high doses but the 5 or 6 clicks is just to boost your lining and I've only ever used that a few days after embryo transfer - what protocol has he given you for using the gonal f and ovidrel? also are you not using the neupogen anymore? did Dr M say for you to stop using it?

@Nidhulaine, I'm not using Dr M as my OB. I've just been doing the $150 phone consults for follow up etc that I've been doing for the past year. What have your immune management charges from Dr M been during your pregnancy? Just want to get some facts before I call G.
@PreciousHeart, I'm a bit worried about the calcium side too. I just try and make sure I get lots from non dairy sources. I was having full cream milk between cycles though and just cutting it out a couple of weeks before transfers. Dr M actually says dairy is fine. I'm going off Dr Zouves's (US IVF Dr that's a good balance of conventional/Chinese med) recommendations.
I'm not sure about Dex tolerance. My brother in law is a pharmacist so I'll ask him this evening and let you know. Will let you know about the pregnancy charges too once I get to the bottom of it. Hoping it's not a per trimester charge! And it says consultations are not included in the $650! Deary me!

Sorry @Nidhulaine, are the $1000,$1000,$1200 fees Dr M's immune management charges?

Never heard if a first trimester management fee. I just pay $150 Everytime I see him. Definitely call G, maybe she stuffed up? I see him about every 5 weeks and just pay $150. I don't see why u pay a management fee if he's not ur OB?
