Hey lovely ladies! Get this, my GP told me that she went to a full day seminar that Genea did for GPs the other week and they included NK cells in their talk... also the acupuncturist at Genea I went to yesterday, when I told her I had immune issues said, "oh yes the NK cells?"... So lah-de-dah they seem to be talking about it now out in the open... it's a step up considering my GP had no clue what I was talking about when I informed her of it all and asked for my referral to Dr M late last year. I even photocopied the first 2 chapters of Dr Beer's book for her!

It still annoys me so much, I feel my FS has a bad attitude to me now because I got the biopsy without his say so and now he "has" to prescribe me steroids as he said. I haven't told them I'm seeing Dr M, if I am lucky enough to have another baby I will send them a letter outlining the immune protocol I actually did.

Why must girls in Australia suffer when in the USA, UK and Europe immune treatment is widely accepted and practiced?!!! I truly believe every women who presents at an IVF clinic should have immune work up and biopsy as standard, not after 3 miscarriages, especially when it is "unexplained" or the patient has thyroid or auto immune issues etc already... GRRR!

Thanks goodness we have each other!!! Something funny - when I had the transfer yesterday I freaked for a few minutes thinking my FS would see the hideous clexane bruises I already have (he doesn't know I started it early per Dr M this cycle) but of course even the nurse doing the ultrasound didnt see them as they were concentrating on the transfer - whew! Was dreading having to tell him yesterday to his face but I would have if he'd noticed and questioned it.

Legwarmer thanks for the update on neupogengate!!! glad it is working out, staying on the pill is a good idea, start when you're calm and 100% ready!

SoClose, only a week to go til transfer, hooray!!!

What a gorgeous day it was in Sydney today, Spring is here!!! Good luck to all of you having your blood test this week, wishing you all really really great news!

Precious heart that is great news about FS finally talking about NK cells! The FS who did my transfer was asking me lots of questions and she is notoriously anti NK cells (bbhope it was the female doctor at Hollywood)

Also thanks for your role call positivity but I am not yet pregnant. BT Thursday....

Galea I'm with Dr T too. He was happy to go with the same protocol that got us DS and was much more open about it than I expected (I didn't tell him about Dr M last cycle) He changed his tune a bit when I mentioned Craig Pennell is doing intralipids in Perth.

Sending you lots of strength I hope you get your miracle soon x

Congrats to those who got BFP! All the best for those on TWW. I have been MIA on this thread as I am busy helping another lady on the other thread.
@Scruffy: lol. I like how u quoted me. Yes, i exactly know which female FS u were talking about. I didnt know how conservative most of them are at Hollywood until I heard a few stories from Hollywood gals. I also had a bad encounter when I rang them up to ask for NK cell biopsy. Lol.

So what kind of tune did dr T change to? Good or bad?
@PreciousHeart: perth is 10 yrs behind. Just look at why we went east to find the best surgeon and doing it all. There is no doubt that I will go back if we ever go down the donor path. Besides, i haven't had too good experience with most clinics here in perth. I got lucky to find one that was willing to help the monitoring the past FET cycle. That's through some inside connection, though. we will have to wait a while even for FS to believe the NK cell thingy.

Dr T was much more willing to listen than I thought he would be and happy to let me repeat everything Dr M did last time - even prescribed the drugs!(except infusions) Although he did raise his eyebrows at the level of prenisolone :-)

Ya i am still trying to find out how CP does the intralipid. I am tempted to give it a go here in perth unless i camp out in syd for weeks again for the fresh cycle. That's if i am moving ahead with donor. It isnt an easy decision for DH.

Hi Nidhulaine, have you got some more guidance from Dr M? How many weeks are you? I am 35.5wks and off to Dr for another scan today after the hospital scare last week. I'm on cgt monitoring 2 times a week and scan once. I feel like bub has grown from the steroids last week and still super active so picking they will keep him in for another 2wks as planned till C- section on 24th. What have you been told to do with your meds? Clexane? I did another IVIg after raised activity at 28weeks so imagine you might be doing another intralipid just to get you further along. I've been told by my OB to stop clexane and baby aspirin at 36wks but Dr M said just stop 3/4 days prior to surgery so I'll just go with his advice.

Been so stressful and I now just want bub out n safe. Just finished setting up bub's stuff and repacked by hospital bag after I had to throw one together last week and head to hospital. My advice would be to get it all ready now just in case - as I thought I had time! X
