Default Drinking more milk at night

My DS is 4 months and I am struggling to get him to drink more than 100ml of formula at a time. This wouldn't be a problem except he wakes every 3-4 hours at night and drinks about 180mls each time. So over the 24hr period he's getting enough, I just wish he would take more of it during the day!

He's 7.5kg and fed every 3-3.5 hrs during the day. Am I feeding him too often? Any ideas on how to get him to drink more during the day?

DS is 3.5 months and has just had a week of doing the same thing. Only in the last couple of days has he gone back to drinking more during day although I haven't done anything differently.

Could it be a wonder week causing his fussiness? That's what I put it down to with DS. I feed 4 hourly but found that even when I stretched DS out he still didn't drink more.

Thanks for your replies. Today I've stretched his feeds out to 4 hrs and increased the flow of the teat. This afternoon he drank 200mls and before bed tonight he drank 250mls! Not sure which one worked but hopefully it keeps up.
