    Thank you ladies, SOOOOO much.

    Amyd, your experience gave me a glimmer of hope, but when you are given this information I think it is difficult to stay positive. In the last week I lost weight - couldn't eat and sleep. I was prepared and expecting really bad news so when we got our amazing results back I don't think I was able to process the information. Our genetic counselor is very patient with me and helping me convince myself that everything is OK.

    probably a final update. We got results from the amnio (FISH) and it was all clear so it seems that our mosaicism was confined to the placenta. We have yet to get the full karyotype results back but my genetic counselor says that with amnio the results usually are consistent for 45x46xy. We are so relieved with these results and are excited to move on with this pregnancy.
