For me there is just something so nostalgic about a photo album. Photo books are probably more practical nowadays.

I used to like photo albums, but got some books made online for Xmas last year and am a convert. They are beautiful quality, no peeling plastic! I will be getting them done again this year

I got them done through photodeals - I actually bought vouchers for them in sale on mum go or catch of the day or one of those kind of sites

Definately going to look at photodeals. I don't particulary like Big W- they look cheap, I like office works so if not, I'll probably go there.

    I do photo books.

I have catch of the day and mumgo apps on my phone and buy a deal each time it comes up from photo deals Australia. It works out much cheaper.

I'm very happy with the quality.

I prefer photo albums as the quality of the prints are better (given that you get them done at a proper photolab). Photo books aren't the best of quality in terms of printing (i work in a professional photo lab), if you were to ever lose the digital copies of the images and wanted a copy for a photo book, then the reproduction wouldn't come up very well due to the way photo books are printed.

    That's my two cents anyway.

DP and I love photo books. We went on a holiday to Japan and made a book. We liked it more than albums because we could write stories in the book of things that happened in Japan and match them with the photos.

Liking photodeals! Already have a book saved and ready to go- just need to wait for the deal to come up. If anyone spots any deals for photodeal, let me know.
