    Default First shoes

    Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a good brand of first shoes?
My 1 year old has been walking for 2 months and has largely gone barefoot, which I understand is the recommendation for new walkers.
I'd just like to get him a pair of shoes to wear outside for when he's romping around the park, I'm a bit over muddy socks. He does have a pair of pre-walkers but I wonder if he needs more support.
    Thanks in advance!

    cant remember to be honest.

But I think it was something lightweight ... like light sandals that were easy to get on and off and didnt constrict the feet.

They grow out of them VERY quickly ... so dont get anything elaborate

Best soft sole shoes I found were tip Toey joey. Best first shoes, or hard sole, were Clarks. Both not the cheapest brands, but shoes is one thing I promised myself I would invest in for my kids

    Thanks for the recommendations!
I went to Williams this morning but they didn't have anything for little ones in store at all which was a bit disappointing, looks like I'll have to order online if I want Clarks.
I'll check out the Tip Toey Joeys too.
Lightweight would be ideal Katiesmum, I almost bought some shoes at Kmart but they seemed heavy & not very flexible.
