Id just like to say congratulations on probably hurting a lot of women who are formula feeders, just because you yourself feel hurt by others...so because one does it, its ok for everyone?

Sheesh, lead by example and show respect, tact and understanding even when others dont. Because when you stoop as well it just makes you look bad, it doesnt really do anything positive.

Default Why on earth are there people that don't vax?

One thing I will never understand in these debates is why it's deemed so offensive to say that non-vaxxing is selfish. If you go by the definition of that word, it is *exactly* what it is.

Unless the concept of herd immunity is in question? Genuinely confused, not being facetious. Because if it isn't in question, then it literally *is* being selfish.

So, what is an acceptable phrase we are allowed to use instead?

To stay on topic, Mokey I think also I have read that some people have concerns about the lack of knowledge about the long term effects of the more recent vaccinations. I can actually totally understand how that would be a factor.

Perhaps... But I think in this case if this thread is closed it will be due to the agressive infiltration....

I think when the scientific fraternity does not support certain views then you have to accept you're going to come across a fair bit of questioning and criticism probably more often than someone who makes a choice that is supported more in the community. If you're choosing something that goes against the grain in such a big way, and knowing that many people out there aren't able to have that same luxury of choice, and your choice puts them or their family at risk of serious illness or even death, surely you have to understand that many people are going to have a problem with it. Respect goes both ways.

Um HOW????? I have the greatest respect for formula feeders, and as a breastfeeder, I DON'T bash them, even though I breastfeed. (Why would I??) That's the whole point, allowing difference, without bashing.
