    I can't remember when DD started crawling but she started walking at 17mo. She tends to just do things when she's ready and there's not a lot of build-up. She was like that with talking, took ages to get started but once she did there was no shutting her up lol!

    In terms of walking they set an expectation in the babies blue book between 10months and 18 months that a huge range. Personally if I could see no signs of my baby about to start walking by a year and five months is maybe get a second opinion from an early childhood nurse. In saying that some children have no signs of walking and within two weeks start to take steps. If you ever feel there is something wrong get an opinion as you know your child best
