Default A hundred (or more) ways with mince...

I seem to remember a book called this or similar was in my mums cookbook collection when I was younger, and gee did we eat a lot of mince in the 80's!

Trouble is, it was often tasteless and dry, not very nice, which probably didn't do justice to the flexibility of such a cheap and easy 'cut' of meat.

Most of us on here would be pretty time poor and keen for cheap and easy dinner ideas which keeps young kids happy, wondering what's YOUR favourite mince recipe... care to share??

I will start, I do a mean moussaka, DD and DH both love it. Takes a while to put together but easy and if I make a big enough batch, can last us at least 3 days!

My trick is to put cinnamon as well as nutmeg into the beef mix, and slow cook it for at least two hours so it's nice and thick and rich.

San Choy Bau made with pork mince, the mince in woolies even comes with a seasoning mix. It's honestly a 15 min meal.
