I haven't been given any measurements at any of my scans. I assume everything is ok or someone would have said something (surely?) I'll have to try to remember to ask next time.

Had the best day today !! Work has paid me out due to system being down and they want to change the system and train someone new who will be there for a while so I have officially started maternity leave ! I got it in writing and they are paying me up until the 7th of November ! I couldn't believe me ears but after the hell they have put me through and all the tears it was the best outcome !

Also bubs stress test that was done last night was perfect and her movement has picked back up a bit they suspect jet lag haha

I am 32 weeks and she is measuring 33.5 they said it was normal and aren't concerned but I'm concerned for my lady parts haha
Dh and I have our first antenatal class tonight and I'm looking at doing an aqua bumps class to help fill my time during the week its all happening !

So long as your fundal height is measuring the same as how many weeks you are +/- 2-3cm then bub is growing nicely and no need for actual scan measurements there is a margin of error in the scan anyway.
I have had so many women told that their baby is too big to birth vaginally (9-10lbs according to scan) and be told to have a c/section then baby is born at only 7-8lbs.

I've never had that measurement taken. Do they do it in lying or standing?

@misti they don't usually start measuring til around 24wks when the uterus has risen above the belly button. When you are lying down they will use a tape measure to measure from the top of the uterus down to the pubic bone.
