Oh wish it's so easy to forget about the bump so don't feel silly at all. Our bodies are designed to protect these little bubba's so I'm sure you haven't done any damage. Hope you and your bump are feeling better soon xx

Thanks girls, just feel ridiculous trying to explain to the midwives what I did and why. They just look at me funny like "what the hell woman!?"
Thinking about it more, I dont think I couldve hurt him which makes me feel even more stupid, a fall onto a mattress from my knees isnt exactly a 'trauma' but still hubby isnt home and Id be laying awake tonight wondering.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. I know I don't post much, don't want to always be posting about my problems, but love hearing how everyone is. Thought I would update though, my specialist appointment Friday and ultrasound showed one umbilical artery has blocked off and half the placenta isn't working. This explains why bub is small. So I was given steroid injections and they expect delivery 32 weeks, maybe to make 34 weeks if lucky, could be anytime if he stops growing or gets distressed. So at home watching movements religiously, lots of Ctgs and ultrasounds. Getting lots of advice on special care nursery and what to expect which has been nice. Just hoping he stays in a little longer.

Wish, my friend fell on hers on concrete!! All was fine. So knees into a mattress shouldn't be too bad, BUT I would be like you and wanting to be checked out.
And agree, how easy is it to forget there is a bump in front if us!!!

I hope you're going ok flower, I have a similar problem with our bubs with its 1 umbilical artery. We had to have a tour around neonatal intensive care last week and I'm now getting fortnightly growth scans, bubs is a bit small but nothing drastic at this stage (I'm only 22 weeks though) I hope yours stays put as long as possible. How long until you're 32 weeks?
Megs hope you're still hanging in there and another 2 days have gone by with a well behaved cervix.
AFM I've put on 2kgs...THIS WEEKEND!! How weird is pregnancy?!

Thanks guys. I'm 29 weeks now, each day has felt like ages since Friday, it will be a long few weeks but hopefully with tests and visitors it will go past fairly quickly.

Thanks @misti - hopefully the single artery is ok in your case other than watching growth - has it always been one? I think the reason for all the concern with me is there were two, hence now half the placenta has no blood flow on the detailed scan. Fingerscrossed for you that your baby keeps growing well.
