    Hi Everyone!
yesterday went really well! I saw dr chan and he went through all the test results
and ordered my partner and I just a few more. We see him again next Friday to follow up and hopefully start ICSI at the start of June.
I had my heart set on westmead but he suggested monash ivf as there is a clinic just 5 minutes from where I work opposed to an hour drive to Parramatta. I'm still not sure about Monash as I haven't read any reviews so far ... I figure ill do one cycle and see how I go. The price is not to bad either its $2070 out of pocket.
Its quite hard to make such a big decision about something I don't really have a clue about. Has anyone been through Westmead bu distance? How many tests per cycle are there to do that would be out if pocket?
Thanks for having me in your thoughts
    Beck xx

    Hi beckmilaoo,

I've just done 3 cycles with Westmead & live in the northern suburbs a 40min drive from the clinic. I didn't find the travel time too bad, it's really only 3 appointments per cycle & traffic is usually flowing the opposite way towards the city.

We could have used Ivf Australia which is a 10min drive from home but couldn't justify the $3k + price increase for the more convenient location & have been happy so far with our decision to use Westmead

    Good luck!

    City blue,
one more question what time does the clinic open/close for bloods/ultrasounds?
Im just curious because although I live in the North , I work in the eastern suburbs starting at 8:00 (i can be a little late if necessary) so i'm trying to figure out whether its achievable?
    Best of luck to you
    ✨❤️

They're open fairly early from memory (6.30-6.45? can't remember!)

I would question why he'd push Monash/IVF Aus over WFC. Is he affiliated with both?

I used to go at 7:10am a fair bit to make it to work in lidcombe at 8 so I'm sure it's open pretty early

Hi, blood tests are from 6.30am but the reception / ultrasound aren't available till 7.30am which are usually 2 out of 3 appointments for a typical cycle (reception to pay on day 1 & ultrasound around day 11)
