Thanks ladies. Adalyn was born on 13/4 weighing 3.5kg and 51cm long.

She is perfect in every way. My milk has come in and she is feeding and sleeping well!
@mrsjaguar I was so pleased to hear your result news and see your scan - Whoohooo! Are you finally relaxed or will you be on tenderhooks till she's born?

    Almost the same weight/length as G! She was 3.5 & 49cm =D

Enjoy every minute with your sweet, long awaited girl. So she was a due date baby?

I'm feeling a lot better, but still nervous - I don't think that'll go away this time. But I'm hopeful.

My advice would be to trust the fertility specialist / doctor and trust the decisions they are making is always in your best interest .
For example in my case I did my first stimming cycle ( injections and egg collection ) in November and due to OHSS had to wait 2 months to proceed then after 2 months I had another delay of 2 months due to high progesterone that was very challenging to get down so that I could complete a frozen egg transfer . I was finally able to complete my first transfer in March and think the 4 month delay was well worth it now ...

All the best in your journey hash !
great to hear that. how many eggs did you get fertilized? And did they freeze them while you waited for 4 months?

May I ask why you are getting assistance at all? Is that male factor or female? I am 30 but DH had cancer treatment so we are now using frozen sperm

Yes we had 17 eggs collected and 11 made it to the freeze !
Our issue is mainly unexplained infertility . I do have Polycystic Ovaries however my period comes on time so it really isn't a real reason why we couldn't conceive in the one year we were trying ....I am 28 and hubby 30 so we are very young as well ...

I am glad ur DH Has recovered from cancer and I wish u both all the very best and hope u get ur little miracle soon !

    Hi lafies

@Hopeful I ended up messaging the clinic and told them I did a poas 2 days early they were really nice and didn't care and said a positive is a positive and put me down as pregnant she said just do the poas anyway on Wednesday just in case there were any changes but she said she wouldn't expect any and to book ultrasound for 3weeks. I can't believe it after 4 fets my first natural one with Westmeath worked! All the others were medicated

Thanks for the info. Great to hear good stories as it gives you strength

How did you feel during the injections? Did you really target 15 eggs? Isnt that a bit too many. Dr Fong is targeting upto 10 for me. She says no need to stress for more eggs

@hash I felt great during injections ! No real side effects for me . I did have a loss of appetite but that's a common side effect .
There was no target of how many eggs I would get as it was my first time doing IVF and I was on a low dose of injections.
I have polycystic ovaries so that is another reason why I had bigger numbers during egg pick up .
