Fingers crossed for you @salma77. I thought it was odd that they didn't do blood tests but even my GP said that a pee test is just as accurate. I remember thinking at the time that I'd feel so much more confident about things if I had a couple of blood tests to show that hcg was rising normally.

@GBA85 yes it would be good for peace mind as it seems a lot of clinics do offer it. So if yku are pregnant on then what happens?

After the positive test, they had me book a 7 week scan there at the hospital to make sure everything was on track and then you move onto an obstetrician / public hospital of your choice (I needed a gp referral for that). We also called the fs office and she had us come in for one last appointment too.

I was so confused about what to do next etc. We actually didn't tell our fs we were pregnant til after that 7 week scan because I just assumed she'd know because the clinic knew. I didn't know to call her and make another appointment until the nurse at the clinic asked if we'd seen the fs yet. I was very overwhelmed and confused by everything.
Then I was torn between ob or midwife system. I ended up doing shared care with a gp at first because he kind of suggested it but around the halfway mark, o realised the midwife appointments were so much better and switched to full care with them.
