Thanks @mrsjaguar! Would you believe it they just called me and my bloods have gone back up?! So wierd they have no explanation as to why it could have dropped but Dr. Fong has said she thinks we should still proceed to Egg Collection this Thursday.. At least the decision was made for me
Fingers crossed we get one good embie! That's all I want!! Thanks for your support, it means alot to have people that understand! My friends are great but they have no idea about IVF so it makes it hard for them to totally get what I am telling them

Ladies, is there a specialist at WFC who ISN'T obsessed with using weight as an excuse about treatment? Just curious...

They all seem pretty fixated on it don't they Mrs. J? Dr Bradbury kept harping on it too. I felt like a whale and while yes I had weight to lose I was only a size 12 so nothing overly worrying. I didn't feel like my weight had anything to do with my infertility ?? What about Dr Smith? He may not be ?

Yeah, i will NOT be going to Bradbury - I've heard some awful things about her & weight, wouldn't feel comfortable at all there. I've had some pretty negative comments lately from my doc, who was always good about it, so I'm feeling really self conscious right now. As if I didn't have enough on my plate to worry about.

Who's your doctor @mrsjaguar? I'm not huge but definitely could lose a lot of weight...I'm anywhere from a size 12 to a size 16 depending on the make but more than often I'd say I was a 14. Dr Fong hasn't harped on at me about it...yet!!! You poor thing, there is nothing worse it's not like you need the added stress of now feeling self conscious about your weight as well as the stress of a cycle. Don't let it get you down. Good luck tomorrow with your scan hope it goes great..Maybe I'll see you when I'm getting wheeled back in from collection looking oh so lovely lol!!

Good luck tmw mummy2harrison, fx your golden egg is in there.

No help with FS who don't worry about weight. I saw dr Bradbury and she made me feel like s heifer! She didn't weigh me on the first appt so had agreed to work with us. When we go to do the paperwork for the cycle and I was over her desired weight she told me I was lucky I was old otherwise she normally wdn't take me on as a patient till I lost weight!

Oh MrsJ did someone say something today at your scan? You might recall I was pretty horrified by Dr Bradbury's over-sized calculator, it was like something a cartoon character would use with enormous buttons and display. But I did appreciate that she was honest about it.
