Glad you're on the mend @so real, I've never had OHSS but heard it's terrible, take care xx
It is a little scary but you just have to keep hydrated constantly. They took my bloods this morning and dr said all is ok and that I'm doing well keeping myself hydrated. If I get worried about my breathing I can always go back for an X-ray, I said I'm ok and think I just have to take it a little easier until my period arrives! Bonus is I have extended my annual leave and started a week earlier so it worked out well in the end. Thanks all
Mummy 2 Harrison hope your doing well x
Thanks @SoReal!! I ended up having the egg pick up today and had 12 eggs retrieved. Was so nervous before I went in and was awake for all of it but so far am feeling ok...am very nervous now waiting to see if any of them fertilize but at least I'll know tomorrow! How are you feeling now? Hope everything has gotten easier after everything you went through...it sounded scary! Hopefully your now enjoying your extra week of leave!!! 😄
Congrats on your egg pick up mummy2harrison hope you are feeling ok and you get a great fert rate x
Thanks @bel2466! They just messaged me a few minutes ago to let me know that 4 made it to fertilisation. A bit worried now that they wont make it to day 5 but fingers crossed! It only takes one good one
Mummy2 Harrison , 4 is a good number. Fingers and toes crossed xxxx good luck Hun. !
Soreal- OHSS is pretty scary, I've had it and I think it's more uncomfortable than pregnancy and more painful than childbirth. Hope your on the mend now. Keep drinking!
Mummy2harrisson - that's a great number, Fingers crossed for you.
MrsJ - thanks for checking in. How are you? I had the trigger over 2 weeks ago, got a bleed for 3 days. The clinic had no idea what it was, I thought maybe a cyst. So 17 days past trigger BFN and not AF. Contacted clinic because I had a bit of pain, told me to go to my Gp, who freaked out it was another ectopic. Had a scan and blood test. BFN and a cyst and I never ovulated! So frustrating, the prob should've down a blood test after the bleed.
Anyway I'm having a break, my body obviously needs it and I can spend Xmas holidays without worrying about getting pregnant.
Pregnant for the first-time?
