That'll teach me to post without reading the last page. Nomsie, you're beautiful. That red is definitely your colour

Great thread!! I am a woman who once was a girl who hated everything about herself. I hated my looks, my personality, my everything. I grew up being extremely self conscious, resulting in me being a complete worry wart and second guessing everything I did. I compared my self to every woman I saw, regardless of age or looks. After meeting my husband, having my own family and starting yoga I am a new person....... I am a beautiful woman. I am not perfect, but my beauty is within me. I am so grateful to have a body that enables me to live an amazing and healthy life. Regardless of what I look like on the outside, I am able to appreciate the beauty of life and the incredible earth that allows us to do so. I am now a believer that true beauty begins on the inside and no matter what you look like, will begin to radiate to the outside.

Oh I'd love to let go of my 'issues' .... I don't know how to. I'll always feel less than enough.

Please don't say that Theboys&me. You are more than enough you just have to believe it. If I can you sure can. I follow you on instagram as a lover of your food. I have seen what you look like and you are stunning. Physically you are gorgeous but you have a brightness and glow about you that is just so lovely. As women it is so sad that we have grown in a society that focuses so much on external beauty. No wonder we have such doubts about ourselves. Especially when they put 20 odd slim, makeup wearing, dress wearing women on a tv show fighting for the attention and love of a single male. Lets unite as women and teach our daughters that they are beautiful regardless of their hair colour, their weight, their skin etc. Lets encourage their hearts to be beautiful as to me, that is the true meaning of beauty!

It's all a matter of personal perception isn't it?? I don't want to point fingers but I'd say my ex has a huge part to play in how I feel ... It's not his doing though - but my reaction to feeling not enough.

I'm looking forward to encouraging others though to see their beauty - even though I'm incapable of it myself.

You girls are beautiful! Lovely eyes and smiles. Love the lipstick too, Noms.

I really hate my skin. I've had acne for years and it's scarred. Not severely but it's noticeable. I hate going out without make up on, I actually think I look like I'm dead and always have to wear it. Not loads just some natural looking stuff. Otherwise I can't look people in the eye. Was hunting for a picture without anything on and all of could find was one taken a few hours after I gave birth.....It's one im very self conscious about as I do look very pale but it was a traumatic birth and I did end up having a blood transfusion the following day so that's probably why!!! But better than posting one where I have make up on I guess given the spirit of the thread. Eeek can't believe I'm posting this! Here goes *hides in shame*

Oh and this is after the transfusion with some colour in my cheeks!!! Before and after, lol 😁
