    I slowly simmer (takes around 2 hours) in a pot of water with half a cup of vinegar, 2 bay leaves, one whole peeled onion and a tablespoon of brown sugar added to the water. Yummmm!

    My DH is a vegetarian so obviously doesn't eat it either, I just make it for the kids and I. Even my fussy DD loves it, the meat just falls apart and it's just so tasty! Nom now I want it too

    So its not like a beef roast... you have to cook it in water? Lol. Sorry if thats a stupid question, I dont eat alot of red meat and never saw mum cook it, just had the end result. Lol :/
