Of course it isn't regulated! Do you think a surrogacy agency in a third world country could care less about what happens to the child? All they want is the $$

In the video they say the Aussie couple didn't know about Gammy until a couple of years ago... I thought he was only a baby (~under 1).

Seems to be a lot of bad reporting on this case.

Yeap, hopefully DOCS will be onto this now.
I doubt DOCS will do anything. Sex offenders can still have children.

I have changed my mind on this again. I am back on the side of the fence that the Aussie parents are @rseholes (might add the mum is a silly biatch for having a kid with a child sex offender). And I fully understand why in several Australian states it's illegal to go overseas and pay a surrogate. I hope the Government starts cracking down on offenders.

How sad. It makes me sick to think that little innocent child is in the hands of a convicted sex offender. I find it disgusting that his wife is quoted as saying 'people make mistakes'.

As a person growing up in a household with a monster, I can happily say I'd rather be in Thailand with the surrogate mother than be with that couple. That child needs to be taken off them immediately.

It's just so sad but now it's going to ruin surrogacy for those couples who need it & are good people. For some people it is their only option. I worry for those who currently have a surrogate carrying their child in Thailand. Are they going to be able to get their baby home?

This poor baby caught up in the middle of it though. I hope they are able to adopt him to a good home. You would think if the agency only told you about one baby but then you found out there were two, you would go straight over & do everything you could to get your child.

What about the little girl that is now in Aust? I hope they have intervention to make sure she is ok, etc.

If this story is true then it is as horrifying as the little boy born to a surrogate for the sole purposes of 2 paedophiles. People used as commodities like this is sickening. Human trafficking is a scourge on our society.

S&x offenders using surrogacy and people taking advantage of the worlds most vulnerable people = f@$ked up! It's just awful
