It'll be interesting to hear the statement from the lawyer.

I also noticed that the WAToday article says "biological parents of Gammy" (not alleged biological parents), so I'm guessing it's now not in dispute? (Previous articles stated the bio parents said that Gammy wasn't their child, despite having the same birthdate as their daughter).

I read somewhere that the bio father is caucasian but the bio mother is of Asian descent.

The biological father is Caucasian and the mother is Asian, that is why Gammy looks whiter but still Asian.

Apparently the Australian couple are making a statement within the hour? We shall see.

Oh that explains it. I thought white skin but Asian eyes.

VERY interested to hear their statement. I guess when they decided they never really pictured all of Australia hating on them.

I'm now thinking they didn't know Gammy survived. Surely they couldn't split the twins and abandon Gammy like that. No-one could be that much of an @rsehole ... Could they?

The other thing to consider is that babies with Down's syndrome often have "Asian-looking" eyes, even with two Caucasian parents. It can be part of the abnormal facial appearance of the syndrome.

From first reading and still now I think deceptive agency has deceived both the bio parents and the surrogate mother. It still seems 99% of bubhub still believe the parents are terrible and did this on purpose? I guess time will tell.

My bet is that the didn't even know. Could be so many scenarios, maybe IVF group put in more than one embyro and were not meant to? Maybe they were told the baby did pass away? What a trial by social media this has been.

Yeah I'm thinking this. I can't even leave my newborns with a relative, let alone someone in another country!! I'm really struggling to believe someone would do this

I find a dodgy agency easier to believe, but I may yet be proven wrong I guess
