I'm sickened and saddened by this. He looks gorgeous and to knowingly leave him in poverty is astounding.

I just had a read to the story & there sounds like there's so much more background info that's not in the short story.

Still it's heartbreaking & an innocent child is now stuck in the middle.

Surely before implanting embryos in someone else, they would have an arrangement with their agency that they would have a surrogate who's on the same page re early abortion if tests indicated something they weren't happy with?

I'm wondering if the agency had lied to these parents to take their money?

That's so sad & now this poor little baby is stuck in poverty & needing critical medical intervention. Even though they went against their wishes & had the child even though the parents didn't want them to go ahead with the pregnancy, I don't think I could leave my own flesh & blood behind.

I'm worried that this will deter people from carrying pregnancies for other Australians who need it.

And can I just say, he is beautiful & deserves a family that can give him a lot of love & support.

if this is true then im disgusted, horrified, sad and angry at all parties involved.... A baby is a gift no matter what and not something you pick and choose...
