    Ooh my people!

One thing that bugged me, in the books.
In Deathly Hallows, Fenrir insinuates that he doesn't have a dark mark to summon Voldemort with (in the Malfoys manor)
But, in the Half Blood Prince, Draco created that 'magic line' where only Death Eaters with the Dark Mark can get up to the tower where Dumbledore is and Fenrir was there!

Ah this is starting to make sense, with the rule of there being absolutely no magical way to transport someone off the grounds then I'll accept that altering an existing working portkey would be a legitimate option. (But they couldn't have just waited until Harry was in Hogsmeade or back at the Dursleys and used something easier for him touch?! sigh I just think I'd be a better evil villain!)
I haven't read these in ~10 years so please forgive me if I've forgotten some other details!

Ah you guys are hilarious. I've read those books so many damn times and I can't remember half the stuff you're all talking about :-)

I do know there is an awesome interview somewhere online where JKR answers a lot of these sort of questions. I'll see if I can dig up the link.

Favourite book anyone? Mine is PoA.

Hmmmmm...that one I can't think of an answer to. I know that I have ones myself (the portkey back was always one!) but I can't think of them right now!

Hogsmeade would be the logical choice, he can't be touched at the Dursleys'. I suppose the issue there is that it needed to be a place where they could have definitely access to him (during the school year) and gave them time to plan plus a way to get him to the graveyard. The tasks were already planned (since they were organising the dragons, etc.) so Bertha knew about the portkey and the time and date of the last task. It was just a matter of getting Harry to it.

If I was forced to choose...aaaargh, it would be a toss up between PoA and HBP.

"Hey Harry, can you help us set up the last event for the tournament? Just carry this cup down for us, I swear it's not a portkey"
    Done!

But very good, I'm satisfied with these explanations (for now…), thanks!

Goblet of Fire was definitely my favourite. But then I also like Prisoner of Azkaban because Hermione is a bit of a bad a$$ in it haha

I'm going I listen to the audio books again now and then when I finish each book, watch the movie. This will bet treat to myself haha.
