Does anyone ever wish they could erase the books from their memory and read them all over again for the first time?

No. Everytime I read it there is something I've forgotten which amazes me again. Also reading them with DS1 helps because it's the first time for him.

I don't but I do wish I hadn't read GoF first before any of the others. Totally ruined the surprise in PoA which is my favourite favourite of them all.

I just remember how amazing it was reading them for the first time, and I feel sad that even though I love re-reads, it's never going to feel like that again!

I don't really have a favourite. For a long time it was CoS (pretty much everyone's least favourite, bahaha), then OotP because I was/am a Harry/Hermione 'shipper and that was like our bible. *wistful sigh* Also cause it was the longest, and so much happened in it. These days though I don't think I can pick a fave. The one that I most intensely hated when it came out was HBP, but that was mostly cause the Harry/Ginny stuff was so dreadfully written, that even if I wasn't H/Hr it would have made me feel sick. I love the HBP movie however, lol. Bonnie Wright's Ginny is a billion times more likeable than book-Ginny IMO. Book-Ginny made me stabby from the first moment she appeared, and it only got worse. :/
