Default SAHP's what do you have for lunch?

Lunch seems to be the most boring and unhealthy meal of the day, unless I have left-overs from the night before. (Rare though, as DF takes them to work usually.)

I'm not a big fan of sandwiches or boring salads (the only type I am motivated to make for myself, you know just the garden salad type)

I just seem to have such little motivation so end up whacking a couple of bits in the bread for toast or planning my shopping trip around lunch; "oh, while I'm out I'll grab something for lunch"

What do you do for lunch if you're home?

Oh my gosh, I soooo relate to what you're saying and I do exactly the same! I am so uninspired with my lunches these days and agree that it is a boring meal of the day and I am a bit of a foodie, but when I get stuck into the house work, the kids, and the day in general, I can't be inspired or motivated with my lunches.

So I usually just have salad with tuna, jalapenos, capers, spanish onion, tomato, cheese and olives day in day out. (at home).

Home sandwiches bore me, so if I ever make them, I make them on Ciabbata bread or turkish bread and have my favourite fillings of smoked salmon, cream cheese, spanish onions and capers.

Other than that, I will have toasted sandwiches, ham, cheese and tomato or tuna.

    Soup and/or leftovers.

I'm rubbish with lunches. I usually have leftovers (I try to keep the freezer stocked) or a toasted sandwich or I make a basic salad.

On occasion I'll make something a bit more effort-filled like mini pizza using English muffins as the base or a fancy wrap/sandwich of some sort.

    Left overs or

    Tuna tomato onion cheese salad

    Or

Chicken, tomato bacon and lettuce with ranch salad

    Or

    Eggs

Usually something high protein so it keeps me going until dinner

Boring lunch here too, usually left over dinner or a sandwich. I only really enjoy dinner
