    Default SJOG murdoch or KEMH??

Ok so im new to Perth. My last pregnancy was high risk and this one is shaping that way too. I managed to get an early appt with an ob at sjog but in the mean time my gp referred me to Kemh. Im very happy with my ob but just today got an letter from kemh saying I have an appointment with them nxt week.
What to do? Money isnt an issue.

Do you mind me asking why you are high risk and what the complication / potential complication is?

I faced this same dilemma when booking in for this pregnancy, DD was born at 25 weeks after a short stint of hospital bed rest (obviously at KEMH as only place that can accommodate that gestation). For this pregnancy I've booked in at SJOG Mt Lawley with the consultant OB that looked after me for the week of bed rest and delivered DD.

For me private v public is not the issue, but it is all about the OB, not just any OB would do for me, and if I couldn't find a suitably skilled OB at a private I would have booked in with the high risk team at KEMH.

I believe Dr Craig Pennell (from KEMH) also sees some private patients through SJOG Subiaco.

Who did you book in with at Murdoch?
