It can't hurt to get bloods done to check hormone levels. That's where I would start. We've been trying for 14months now and have just gone to a fertility specialist. Both DH and I are in our late 20s and so far the infertility is unexplained. We've not had any pregnancies as yet. Your other option would be to look into a natural fertility program. It's more about looking at your cycles and changing diet (if need be) and working with your own body to achieve pregnancy. I was speaking to someone today about the natural fertility clinic at the mater in Brisbane and they've got women coming from Darwin and Sydney for treatment because they've been so successful. That blew my mind. I almost wish i had known about it before we got our referral. The bonus is you can self refer to them, you don't need a GP referral

Thanks everyone for your replies. Now comes the task of finding a GP (we've just recently moved to a new area). Will update when I know more
