    Default Share a movie

How about a thread to share a great movie?

Tonight I watched "About Time" (2013) with Rachel McAdams and I loved it. It's a Drama, fantasy, romance with a hint of comedy (I actually laughed aloud a couple of times which I rarely do when I'm on my own!)

Oh, I cried and cried and cried in that movie.

Nothing else to add, I haven't seen many movies of late.

Ooh! I recently watched Saving Mr Banks, not my type of movie at all but I loved it!
Sad parts, of course, but it's so well made.

I really like it too. Complete surprise as I went in thinking it's a kids movie I'm going to be so bored.

I just saw s3x tape tonight which was actually quite funny I thought. Was exactly the kind of movie I needed to see after the week I've had.

I've got many favourites that I love
    - love actually
    - dirty dancing
    - the notebook
    - mamma mia
    - phantom of the opera
    - what to expect when you're expecting
    - pitch perfect

DH and I saw 22 jump street last week and it was pretty funny.

One that's a bit off the cuff that I think is funny too is Beautiful Lies. It's a French movie with Audrey Tautou. You have to be in the mood for subtitles though.

Another one that has cracked me up over the years is Girls on Top. Its a German movie about a group of friends on a quest to achieve their first orgasms. It's not as seedy as it sounds. I first saw it when I was 16 and it's been on SBS quite a few times over the years - although normally at like 11pm haha.
