    Del I am so super happy for you. I have my finger crossed for some serious stickyness for you. I always say my goal on a diet is to gain about 8 lbs.

    Might be opening a can of worms with me, zombie!

    My first week was great. Second week, not great. Bottom line, I have emotional eating issues that are making me want to throw in the towel. I won't, but I'm struggling.

    In short I've had these issues for a year, since I had hip surgery last June which ended my run of dancing for 30 years. I was in a semi professional group which I loved when I injured my hip. I knew the end was near anyway as I had to push myself so hard to keep up with the 20 year olds (hence why I got injured). But I was forced into it by the injury. For 3 months after the surgery I could do nothing. Very hard for a fitness freak. It's been a long road back. It's heaps better but will restrict me for the rest of my life.

    So put limited activity, depressive headspace and chronic fatigue syndrome (which I've had for a few years) together and it turns out to be a recipe for emotional eating, an issue I've never had before.

    Sorry for the novel. This past week has been hard as my chronic fatigue is flaring up so I can't exercise. Even at work yesterday I struggled as my body felt like lead

    Anyway, I'll keep plugging on.

    B - bacon and eggs
    L- cauliflower soup and ham
    S - protein bar
    D - meeting friends at sushi train after work. Sigh. Tried to suggest somewhere else. Was outvoted. I haven't told my friends about the diet - I'm not officially overweight and they won't get it. My best friend is quite overweight and she doesn't deal with me talking about my weight. Fair call. So I don't. Anyway they might have a meat dish on their menu. Will try my hardest.
