That recipe looks great zombie. Will give it a go.

Haha TeBe I know - nuts are a weakness of mine (low carb diet or not).

Today was ok. Ate too much I think but stayed under 40g of carbs. We had cauliflower fried rice for dinner. I didn't mention to the kids that it wasn't rice. They scoffed it down

Tomorrow I'm setting myself a challenge...no nuts!!! Argh I know I will struggle.

I'm doing ok - a bit hungry as I've been on jury duty and boy, do they like to offer carb loaded food. I made sure I had a good breaky then on the days we weren't allowed out I just ate the filling of the sandwiches (pretty sure everyone thought I was strange!)

Home early today so it's Shepards Pie with Cauliflower mash (well left over bolognese mince with mash & cheese on top).

Hopefully I will be able to get to the gym tomorrow so I can weigh in.

Ok - just back from gym (and monthly weigh in) and.........I'm 59.8kg - whoop! I haven't been below 60kg since 2004 - ok it's only 20grams under but I'm taking it! I was 62.5kg last month.

But then I got home and had a few sneaky spoonfuls of ice-cream...oops

Hope everyone has a super weekend!

ETA: whilst my weight & BMI went down my body fat% increased - would this be because I'm eating high fat foods?

Thanks ZE - I will up my protein then and see how I go - I don't want to be a light weight ball of fat! Much rather muscle :-)

I haven't been checking in this week. I have been sick all week with a heavy cold and probably drinking too much tea but otherwise I have been eating ok.

I have been too scared to get on the scales yet. I do think my pants are a bit looser. I really should get on the scales and do some measurements.

Ok - I need a bit of help from those more knowledgable than me.

Here's an example of what I'm eating in a day - I want to add more protein so suggest away...

B- 2 x eggs (scrambled) with handful of spinach and grated cheese.
L - crust less quiche with salad
D- meat with vege (eg. Steak and broccoli, asparagus).
Snacks - usually cheese and deli meats.

I'm thinking if I added some sliced chicken at lunch and added some tuna as a snack instead of deli meats??
