Default Things that make your heart melt ...

After a day filled with vomit ... DD2 made my heart melt by leaving a love note on my pillow for me to find when I got home from work. She was sound asleep when I got home, so it was a beautiful surprise.

So what have your loved ones done to make you go aaawww ...

When I get home from work or hubby brings 17mo bub home from daycare, I crouch down and say "give me a kiss!" And without fail, every day she climbs up on my knee and wraps her arms around my neck, then gives me a big, sloppy kiss on the lips. I hate being away from her all day but that's my favourite part of the day :-)

Default Things that make your heart melt ...

Tonight DS was sitting on my lap having his bedtime cuddles and bottle when he started playing. He would open up my hands so they were out flat, pretend to pick up something from his lap, put 'it' in each of my hands and then close the fingers over into fists. He did it over and over for about five minutes and babbled the whole time. It's the first time I've really seen him do any imaginative play. He only stopped because Spicks and Specks came on, so he had to clap his hands and say 'yay'!

When I carry DD into her room to go to bed I tell her its sleepy time and she 'kisses' me on the cheek every single time. Those giant sloppy kisses are the best part of my day every day

I thought it was pretty adorable last night at food shopping, ds2 was sitting in the chair in the trolley. I said "ugh my mouth is killing me" he gasp and leaned forward and hug me laying his head on my chest and said in the sweetest voice "don't die mummy". Definitely a heart melting moment for me.

My dd's say and do so many little things every day, its hard to pick one!

The older girls and I have this thing where one of us randomly out of the blue says "guess what", the other person says "what", then first person says "I love you". Playing with dd2 in the lounge the other day and out of nowhere dd3 goes "mum guess what" so I said what and she actually said "I love you". Its the first time she has ever said it.

Watching dd3 with her baby sister. She gets so concerned when dd4 starts crying, its so cute. And if dd4 is in her swing or on the playmate dd3 will race over to her and put dd4s dummy in and give her cuddles.

Watching dd1, dd2 and dd3 play together and seeing the bond they have. The way they look out for each other and protect each other.

    He + Me = dd1 (July 2007), dd2 (July 2010), dd3 (August 2012), dd4 (May 2014)
