J it sucks that you're going through all of this. How much longer are they predicting? I hope it gets easier.

So excited rainbow!! Can't wait to hear more

Audrey has just cut her bottom two teeth. Explains a lot with her being a bit grumpy and wakeful. 2 down, 14 to go eh!

J - any advice for this kind of injury? I'm worried about his tooth.

He had torn his upper frenulum but that is quite common I read so okay to be left alone. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1424859857.737431.jpg

The mouth heals itself very quickly. Just leave it alone. Paracetamol for the pain/discomfort, but don't traumatise the area any further...leave it be, and it will heal.

This sort of injury is very common in toddlers! Lucy did the same thing when she flung herself from a chair when we went camping...it was fully healed within a few days.

Don't touch or wobble the tooth. Give it time/space to heal. Give Toby "soft" foods for a few days (not that this will really make a difference to the healing process, but it will be more comfortable for him).

    J.

Thanks j! He is eating fine

No longer worried about the tooth. His frenulum is just dangling in front of his teeth though. Should I be getting it trimmed or will it be ok? It looks a little odd.

No need, just leave it. It will sort itself out.
