Welcome Jessi, Chelsea is stunning. Hope everything is healing nicely. Epsom salts in a bath is supposed to work wonders

    Congratulations Jessi. She's adorable.

J, Sienna doesn't have a dummy or blankie. Hubby doesn't help with the night wakings. On the occasions when he's tried, Sienna has gotten hysterical when she's realised it's not me. Now it's just easier to do it myself. Last night she fell asleep easily and quickly, but woke 5 times overnight. It's been a bit warm, so I'm wondering if she was waking up hot

Lil Smurfy, hopefully Sienna has a better night tonight!! Meadow doesn't have a dummy and blanket either. I've tried with teddies etc but she'd rather stick her hand in my hair. Not good when you want a break from having to settle them! Just shows that mums rock and you are Sienna's comfort

Hahahahahaha I was so confused reading the last few posts as everyone commenting on how cute Chelsea is and I am thinking 'huh?? I haven't posted a pic!'
Congrats Jessi - what a gorgeous name! My little girl is Chelsea Olivia and yes, she is 17 months old.

Sounds like you did an amazing job during her birth. Hope your tear heals up quickly. I had a bad third degree (after failed vacuum then forceps) and felt ok down there after 2-3 weeks. It's certainly a new experience!!

Miss XamX (can't remember if I've spelt that right?!) has a Chelsea too but would now be around 16-17 months old as born a couple of weeks after my little girl :-)
Oooh third degree would be so painful. My SIL had a third degree tear too. It's starting to slowly feel better and better. So hard not feeling even remotely yourself on top of learning to be a mum and looking after a newborn. We somehow manage though.

Jessi she is adorable. Yes it is hard in the beginning but you'll start to feel human again soon. Just be easy on yourself and don't overdo it.

MissX omg how grown up is Chelsea now! She's adorable. Love her little shoes - are they high tops?

Smurfy - are you on your cruise yet? Be consistent and he fully she starts sleeping better.

J - thank you. Miscarriage does suck, it's not fair. I'm doing better than I thought I would. I think I am just telling myself that it wasn't meant to be for whatever reason. We have discussed trying again, hubby was always indifferent to a second child and I was super clucky. Hubby has said that if I want to try again we will. He's worried about the toll of the loss on me physically and emotionally. I have a follow up apt with the hospital gynae in 4weeks time so will discuss it with them then. J how soon after can I expect my period and what can I expect?
    How are you feeling?

Rainbow - how are you going? Where are you at in the cycle?
