Sorry I meant at 10weeks pp. I'm not pregnant. Still haven't dtd since conceiving possum.

She has been bottle fed the whole time as she refused to latch so she was bottle fed EBM and formula from the start.

Becca I found it really hard when my first baby suddenly refused the the breast at 10 weeks old and I couldn't get him back on. I wanted to keep feeding but he preferred a bottle of formula!! I cried and grieved that it was over too soon. But he was happy and I did as much as I could. Second time around and I'm still feeding her at almost 16 months old....but now wishing she would wean herself, I'm over it! Lol

J, I hope you're feeling ok. You've understandably chosen not to speak much about the health challenges you're facing but I am thinking of you and wishing you well. Amazing job feeding Lucy for 18 months. Congratulations Xxx

MCHN appointment went well, thanks Toni; Lucy has jumped up to 50th percentile on weight, length and head circumference. She has quite a chubby little bottom now, which is so cute! Nurse said not to worry about the fact she isn't yet walking; she said that crawling helps develop their hand-eye co-ordination, and that because Lucy is a proficient crawler, that I am not to worry. I think she will walk soon, but at the moment she keeps falling back onto her bottom!

Thanks Bond for your well-wishes. I will be in hospital for a bit longer. I am a bit bruised from blood tests, but other than that I am on the right track. I feel strange not breastfeeding...I feel like something is missing...I am still a bit teary about the whole thing. I am watching episodes of "Downton Abbey" on my laptop in order to distract myself...I LOVE the actress Maggie Smith!

    Becca, hope your day improved.

    J xx.

Toni, yes work is pretty good thanks. I'm only doing 20 hrs a week which is perfect. DH has been taking care of the kids but he's starting work full time finally next week so I've got a couple of friends helping out with babysitting until my mum arrives in January to take over. Will avoid having to put Meadow into daycare until mid April when she goes back to the UK. Toby is at kindy so he's taken care of at least.

I'm finding life incredibly stressful and hectic however....the house work is slipping!! And it'll only get worse next week! It's incredible that even with both of us at homes there arent enough hours in the day. Anyone else finding this?!!
Also struggle with tiredness as Meadow wakes by 5am, or 4:30 some days, to start the day. Wish QLD had daylight savings!!!

Bond, working full time, the house work has definitely slipped. Spending time with Sienna seems more important than the house work. My mum has been coming and cleaning the house while I'm at work, which is so nice.

J, I hope your health is better soon. That's not good that you had to wean Lucy. I'm glad the MCHN wasn't concerned about Lucy's walking.

Becca, sorry your milk has dried up. Did you try taking anything?

I tried everything. I guess it's not one less thing for me to stress about.

None of the milk increasing things worked for me either. I never had much milk, and couldn't get more. It sucks when you want to breastfeed and it just doesn't work out
