Just noticed I have a rock hard lump on my leg about 5-8 cm's under my knee, is that a bad sign?

Very hard to get my leg at a angle to take a pic but if you look closer you can see a "hill" in my leg that is the lump on my leg under the knee

Did you RICE it? If not, it's not too late to get some ice on it and elevate. You may have "just" torn your ligaments in your knee. You should still see someone, but ibuprofen and RICEing would be the first step for pain the inflammation.

If you are in that much pain call an ambulance or present to hospital. That bump needs seeing to.

Because of the lump we have been to the hospital and were told from the beginning it's not life threatening so no Dr will be called, I was in tears from sitting in the car so DH went off a little we were told to go home and rest until the Drs office opened in the morning. Although they did say the constant pain even while resting could indicate bone damage and I would likely be sent for a x-ray. The panadiene forte and muscle relaxant I had after dinner has had no effect on the pain so I doubt I will be getting much sleep tonight.

Call an ambulance and go to the next closest bigger hospital. You deserve pain relief at the very least. The nurses could call the dr and get a phone order for pain relief also

The next hospital is 2.5 hours away I feel like I am out of options. I have just had some nurophen plus and I know I shouldn't have because it has codiene in it and I had panadiene forte earlier but I had to.
