For really trashy 80s teenage chick flick try Valley Girl (Nick Cage's first big role). The lingo is hysterical, "like, oh my god, like, no way, that's soooo narrrly".
I used to love Valley Girl! I love these threads! I think I now have a date with my DVD collection and netflix!!!

I'd say anything with a Cusak in it or Christian Slater is a winner.

Joan Cusak in 16 candles is hilarious. No real lines, just awkward comedy. Poor head gear wearing girl.

Yes! Say anything, Better off dead, pump up the volume, Shag: the movie, back to the future, risky business, top gun, see no evil hear no evil ("fuzzy wuzzy was a woman??" Comedy gold.), drop dead fred, the mighty ducks, breakfast club or absolutely anything that Molly Ringwald was in, footloose (omg), girls just wanna have fun, the lost boys, stand by me, splash, the color purple, mystic pizza, a night on the town, the year my voice broke......so so many others.

    ETA....Ladyhawke.
