Default What is the worst birthday present you have got ?

well its my birthday next week ( oh, I mean ) ... and DH has been teasing me all week with what he has bought me for my birthday.

Usually he doesnt buy me much (I buy my own ) ... but sometimes he does something extra special. When he does buy something - its usually nice - but this time, I dunno. Could be interesting

So - what is the worst present you have ever got?

Hmmm mine would have to be an iron for Christmas one year into my relationship with now DH :P, in saying that, it is a good iron and I think he was trying to be thoughtful lol

Oh and an inflatable doll and one of those coffee mugs that has girls in bikinis that get naked when boiling water is put into it. Worst secret Santa present ever.

    * A silver ring that was moulded in to shape so it looked like a naked lady arching backwards to show off her shiny silver boobs. Cheers, MIL.
    * My aunt and uncle had a rule that once we were 18 presents were no longer bought for us. So one Christmas, me the only niece/nephew left to get presents (as I was 16) got nothing. My sister had turned 18 that year, and they spent part of Christmas lunch talking about how much cheaper Christmas is now they don't have to buy for all the nieces and nephews (you know, all 5 of us...bank breaking stuff when my aunty would get a $3000 bracelet as her christmas present). Then the next year, they made this big hoo-ha about it being my last Christmas of getting a present off them and how I was the last one (they obviously remembered somewhere along the line that I wasn't 18 yet), and I got a $5 bottle of body wash.

A gift voucher to a local beauty therapist for my 18th birthday from my DB at the time. The only problem was is that I disliked this therapist immensely and he knew it. He also used to flirt with her all the time. Big thumbs down! I gave the voucher away.

The birthday where basically everyone forgot. I woke up and no one, not even DP remembered it was my birthday until that afternoon. I didn't get a present, card or anything from anyone except a text from my sister.

It was a week after dd was born so everyone was distracted I think, but I was sad. I never wanted presents, a happy birthday would of been enough, I just felt forgotten.
