Just quietly this whole 'seeing a boy' thing is really cutting into my BH time!! ha

    Ok here we go MissusMac....

So he stayed the night again on Sat and as I was making us breakfast he asked if I eat meat - I told him I eat anything really (except tinned tuna... because, you know, I'm not a cat!)

I had to watch another netball game that morning and he ducked out and grabbed the paper and a roast and vegies as he decided he was making us dinner. Now I love love love cooking - really I do.... but words cannot explain how I excited I was to have someone cook for me. It's been many years since I've experience that.... plus I'd never eaten roast beef in my life (strange but true.)

He had a bit of work to sort out and I had my head fully engrossed in the Sunday Mail. It was sweet actually because during a previous conversation I'd talked about how getting the paper on a sunday used to be an exciting ritual for me and somewhere along the line I just stopped doing it.... I'd vowed to start again - and he went and bought it for me without my knowledge he was doing so.

He is really into health and fitness and asked if we could climb the mountain up the road a little (I do this a couple of times a week but NEVER on a Sunday while sporting a slight hangover....) I begrudgingly accepted his suggestion but made it clear there'd be no 'running' on my part - in fact there was a good chance I may drop to my hands and knees and crawl some part of the way. So it was understood that he'd run two laps while I walk/crawl one. Once I reached the top I was determined not to let him double lap me so I ran the whole way down. After I'd finished I walked a few steps down and went and sat on the beach soaking up the gorgeous view, really pleasantly refreshed by my momentary spurt of energy. I figured he'd just ring or text if he couldn't find me.

After a while I went to check if he was up at the picnic area, but I couldn't see him... so I popped down to the beach again to listen to the waves crashing (did I mention how beautiful it was down there??!) ... A fair amount of time had passed and I assumed he must have felt energetic and gone for a third so I thought in an effort to conserve my energy I'd just go wait up at the picnic area directly at the bottom of the mountain. I tried to call him and it was only then it dawned on me that his phone was in the car and I had his keys.....

About five minutes later he came running down the bottom and was drenched in sweat... pointing in my direction, unable to talk before having a huge drink from the tap. He walked over and said he had just gone back up the mountain the opposite way as he was worried he'd missed me and something had happened. He stopped every single person he had passed asking if they'd seen someone of my description but they hadn't. He said he even got to the top and shouted out my name.... long story short - I'd just completely panicked the sh!t out of him while I was blissfully unaware soaking in the amazing beach (it really was a wonderful day for it). I felt a teeny bit bad ... but mainly I just couldn't stop laughing at the stress I'd just unintentionally caused the poor guy (he was laughing too... but I'm pretty sure he wanted to strangle me!! ha!) I told him is was karma for forcing me to exercise on a Sunday

We went for a drive after that then headed home for a few quiet beers and I was watching the footy while he started cooking our roast. It was cute- he even wore my apron. We had some red wine with dinner (which he cooked amazingly) and just chatted for hours and hours ... like usual. We ended the night a little tipsy, listening to music and slow dancing in my lounge room. It really was a wonderful weekend. I think this boy might just be knocking down a few of my walls I've spent so long building.....
