Ok ... I'll try and tell this as chronologically as I can (expect a few brackets!!)

So last Friday night I went out with a friend of mine (Let's call her K). She is also single with two boys. She asked me that night if I'd ever consider dating again ... It's been a long while (had a random dude but nothing relationship wise.)

I told her to be honest if I was to date again I think it would have to be with a single father, I'm positive I'm done having children and I'm actually in the process of saving for a tummy tuck and boob lift in around 6 months time.

She told me she dated a single father and never would again. Turns out the guys she dated is actually the father of a boy I taught last year (small world!!)

So we were out for a bit and I saw a guy I knew from uni (a good 11 or so years ago.) We've seen each other here and there over the years and talked about where and what we teach. He'd been with his wife since high school - I've met her. So I waved and not long after his mates came over and spoke about me knowing him. I said I did and left it at that.

My friend K and I went next door. They came in not too long after and his friends were kind of pushing me towards him. I felt a bit awkward because I knew he was married so I walked away to the bar.

He came up not long after and mentioned that last time (about a month earlier) I saw him he gave me his number. I told him he shouldn't do that considering he was married. He explained that he was separated and that I'm the first girl he'd ever given his number to.

    (Will continue in a sec)

So he said when I was talking to him the previous time he had written his name and number on half a coaster ...as I was talking to him and his friend ... Into the back pocket of my jeans.

I could vaguely remember having to rewash my clothes after paper sh!t was all over them and I investigated further finding half a coaster in my back pocket thinking 'why the frig did I put that in there??!!'

He told me that he'd confided in a few of his female friends at work about giving his number to a girl and that assured him I would text or call. He said he'd hoped I would ... All the while I was thinking I'd spaced out chucking a halfie coaster in my pocket like a weird souvenir!!
