Ok, I'll ring the scan centre on Monday and tell them how far along I am and see what they say. The blood test shouldn't be a problem, I can drop into a centre any time, but the scan appointment might be trickier to book in.

    Thanks everyone

Won't be the end of the world. The royal women's in melb publish a guide - I've just pulled mine out and it says 9-12 for bloods and 11-13 for the scan.

It's just that in older this time round, I want to get it right.
I don't know what I'd do if the results are bad, cross that bridge if we come to it.

I was told bloods on the same day (as scan)- and when I asked if they should be on done on week 10, my doc looked at me blankly.. lol
Got mine done on same day as scan- and got my results 2 days later

    I'll ask about my options.
The last time I was set up for great midwife care but as soon as I got GD I was sent off the the RNS for all my appointments.
That clinic 9 is an absolute nightmare for waiting times, 4-5 hours each visit!
I certainly don't want to be it here anymore than absolutely necessary this time round, especially with an energetic 2 yr old.

I'll get a booking in appointment and see where I go from there
