    OP I was the PP that suggested it might be a hematoma. Mine was huge - something like 56cm in diameter - it had shrank to a third if it's size at 24 weeks and had vanished by my last u/s at 34 weeks.

    You don't want to pass the clot as this is what can cause the miscarriage. The optimal resolution is that your body reabsorbs the hematoma and the best way to help this along is to rest as much as possible.

    As for the no sex that also includes no orgasms as the contraction of the uterus can dislodge the hematoma.

    I know the no orgasm thing
    My bleeding stopped on Sunday n then my partner and I fooled around just a dry play and I orgasmed and started to bleed red blood again instead of the brown

    My scan went well no more Hematoma looks like my body has fully re absorbed it.... Yay Yay Yay
    Hubby was stoked first thing out of his mouth woohoo no more sex Ban !!!!
    I said u wish buddy that what caused this in the first place you can still wait
