Hey guys. Has anybody else had an iron infusion during pregnancy? I'm only 12+4 and my doctor is talking about having one already. I have always had quite low iron and my levels have dropped and aren't really picking up even with Ferra Grad C supplements on top of prego vitamins. Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this before?

    Not me sorry hun.

Another random question...re centrelink. My head is exploding after reading the dept of human services website.

So hubby earns 125k, me 0 as I'm not working atm. We are both perm residents and all that. From what I can gather we'd be eligible for fam tax benefit B and he could get a bit of help with pay if he took LWOP from work. I can't see anything else that we could get.....does that sound right?

@Happyma I recommend you call them. I figured I would be eligible for parenting payment (as I will be working up until March) only due to hubby's income as parenting payment is not income tested. Centrelink doesn't help out anyone with decent incomes ... because apparently we don't deserve assistance

Kitik I'm pretty sure baby bonus is only valid for deliveries before March 2014

Yeah will call them. Was just avoiding being on hold for 24million years lol

@Happyma the baby bonus still exists but it's pittance! Just think, you'll have bubs by the time they answer your call ;-)

Haha too true. Is that for WA too do you know? I'll have to re-check the web.

I'm fairly certain that's everywhere. I think they've removed the $5k & replaced it with the $1k or so across the board

There's a "newborn bonus" but that's only if you're eligible for FTBa
