I know right!? Argh!
I didn't have anyone ask me in the first trimester and I think it would be rude if they did. Even if you suspect best to respect the person's decision to keep it to themselves and not ask. That's one of the reasons we didn't tell people we were doing ivf as we didn't want the pressure of people asking if it had worked yet. I think people are just trying to be supportive in that case but it is hard if you are not ready to tell them yet.
I am now at the point where I am obviously pregnant and complete strangers acknowledge the fact eg offering me a seat on trains etc. It's actually quite exciting when that happens
Hi girls...thought I would join...just got my BFP from a FET yesterday so I'm due June 12th. This is my second ivf baby, hoping all goes well bad looking forward to getting to know you all

Oh @BabyOB that sucks big time! I hope you can get some relief. I ended up buying the dip sticks (I got utis that often) so I could make sure it wasnt a wasted visit to the gp and got my gp to give me an extra script for the times I needed anti biotics immediately but couldnt get in to see him - he knew my history. TMI but i always had blood and pus in my samples and lots of it.... not nice/healthy. Thankfully ive only had mild symptons not a full blown uti since dd2. 3 years of them sent me bonkers... I hope it doesn't plague you like it did me, there is truly no more irritable and uncomfortable feeling. TMI apart from the hallmark discomfort it was like I was aware of my urethra opening... normally don't notice... even typing that is making me uncomfortable!! good luck x
Ps: make sure you tell the ob, utis during pregnancy are not good and they may be able to suggest a way to manage it.
Kitik I am surprised nobody has asked me I have a good bump now but I think people must be thinking geez she is putting on the weight ha ha. I have been asked prior to pregnancy and said yes because I was so embarrassed. That poor lady must be so confused. It is the golden rule never ever ask!😉.
Welcome nicata83 congrats😊
Random question time. Has anyone had pain along the spine towards top half of back. Last night in bed felt like I twinged something but then it never went away. Made for a very restless sleep.
Seems ok today when I walk around or sit down, but lying down it still hurts...
I had my first stranger comment this week, buying some newborn clothes the male sales assistant asked when "he" was due. It felt good, but we are not finding out the sex so then I was worried that my purchases were obviously more for a boy! (I figured a little possibly redhead girl can pull off the navy blue!)
But that was in context, I agree, rude for randoms, or work colleagues to ask! And NO touching! Urgh! I've never wanted to feel someone else's. Friends have asked me to feel the kicking.
Sorry to hear of the UTIs. THat must be awful!
