CRANBERRY JUICE................... IT REALLY DOES HELP KEEP THE UTIs AWAY....but it has to be the really stuff... Not ocean spray 25% juice crap... I mean I love it, but it's water and sugar... Wollies in the cold section have a cranberry cleanse ... Apple and cranberry... All juice and all good... Drink a litter a week...

Hi all had my 1st trimester scan today and both twins were given a 1:6000 chance of downs. Very happy. Both were also measuring to date and had heart beats in 160's.

Awesome results @Nezz79! Bet you are stoked. HRs at 160 are also great!! How exciting, makes it more real doesn't it.

Has anyone been asked outright if they are pregnant? And what did you say? I have been keeping this pg under wraps (for LOTS of reasons) a friend who I have been close with and honest to asked me if I was and I totally lied and said not at this stage... I find it really disresepectful to ask, and frankly no one elses business unless I offer it up. I am not showing and have kept my ms and other symptoms to myself (only family know and are 100% in support of my reasons for keeping it that way)... so have you been asked, what did you say and why?

Maybe I am over reacting (see LOTS of reasons to keep it under wraps), I also HATE having to lie as I am rubbish at it. Wish ppl would just mind their own business (ps: have been distancing myself from said friend for a while bc among other things they cant keep anything a secret...) ok that's my rant for the day...

@KitiK yeah it's totally inappropriate to ask someone if they are pregnant. Maybe, maybe if they are your very best friend or something but even mine were under strict instructions after we lost the first one to just not mention it.

A few months back a woman at work asked me outright in front of a whole lot of junior staff. We'd just found out at that stage that we'd never conceive naturally so it was just so hurtful that she asked - never mind the fact that she was actually just pointing out id gained weight. So rude.

@KitiK I have sort of been asked... a team leader at work who knew we had been doing IVF (I had to tell them I was doing IVF as I was having time off for appointments etc) came out and asked me in the tea room of our work a few weeks back. Luckily no one else was in the room, she just came out with 'so, any luck on the IVF stuff?' I think it is very rude to ask and I would never ask anyone, because as you said it's none of their business. Don't they think that if I wanted people to know I would volunteer the info!! I just think that people who haven't been through IVF have no freakin' idea what it's like! Grrr Just like people who think it's funny or OK to ask couples when they are going to have children, and 'time is running out ya know!' So inappropriate and insensitive!! OK, sorry, rant over now

Thanks @scubagirl. Dont want to overreact but geez. My job could be on the line (among other things) so yeah SECRET. Plus fertility treatments etc. I would tell the person if they could be trusted to keep a secret (I have been a close friend with the person) but unfortunately.... I also know their faults.

I just think its rude and hurtful to ask anything baby/fert related... people will offer it up if they want you to know.

My sister posted a thing on facebook yesterday of a baby squeezing a bladder & tagged me (lucky my facebook is locked off to approval only). I seen RED!!! People are just so inconsiderate it's frustrating. They have no idea what we have been through/going through

My only annoyance is the people that do know I'm pregnant at this stage, Every time I see them they constantly are looking at my stomach.
I actually had a co worker touch my stomach last week. I get that's going to happen when I'm massively pregnant, but seriously at 10 weeks pregnant?!? It's just a fat stomach at the moment. (Hands off)!!
