@ScubaGal I haven't bought any new bras yet but I don't think they will be too far away. I was getting changed yesterday and my husband commented that he thought I should buy some new ones as I'm 'spilling' out of my old ones now, but as I'm only 12 weeks (12 weeks today actually!! yahoo!!) I was going to try and wait a little longer, as no doubt I will need to buy more as things progress. When I do buy some new bras I think I will avoid Bras n Things and go to a specialised store where they fit you. @KitiK yep I've had a headache probably one and off for the last couple of weeks. I haven't had any panadol or any pain relief at all as I read a story on the internet about a study from NZ I think that now says there is a possible link between mothers taking paracetamol during pregnancy and an increased risk in the child having ADHD. It was only a small study, and others have come out to say it's not a definite thing, but I just can't get it out of my mind. I might talk to the midwives about it when I see them in a couple of weeks. I'm off for my 12 week scan at 1.30 today! Super excited and quite anxious about it! I hope everyone else is having a good day.

Ladies, I have suffered terrible headaches, day-in, day-out for 99% of the pregnancy so far. I can't work out the exact trigger but nor can I rid them either. My tip is to just drink heaps of water all day everyday. That's the closest you'll get to a cure :-/ Apparently almonds are a natural cure so maybe try munching on them too. Pregnancy is not glorious like imagined but when we hold our bubs, it'll all be a distant memory

Yes.....headaches! Argh! I'm 22 wks and the headaches started soon after the ADS eased off to evenings. The headaches are bad, and stick around! Panadol doesn't help. As soon as I feel a twinge I'm on to it, but it progresses. I want the good stage of pg not headaches twice a week!

Hope no one else gets them, but would love to hear from anyone else suffering.....commiserate together!

Kitik have you been getting them often? Have you figured out a trigger? Neck/ shoulder strain?
Soques how are yours going? Getting better? And do you still have the MS?
Hey OIC...not issues you joining in... The jan/feb/March thread doesn't seem to have much chatter that's for sure...

Yea headaches come and go... No real trigger except maybe sitting in from of my computer for too long... Maybe my eyes are changing or something not sure... Getting some eye drops today as I feel my eyes are really dry see if that helps any... Ms seems to have disappeared which I am thankful for and I can stay up to about 9/9:30 pm now without to much trouble...

I do however have a terrible jaw ache on my right side... Think due to blocked ear draining tube (it's not the first time I have had this) which in turn is making my jaw hurt... No medicine to help it either... Dumb dumb dumb...

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    Hey Soques,
Great to hear the ms disappeared!

Yeah, I think the computer staring.....or too long in any position contributes to the tension. Hadn't thought about eyes, but good point. I often find myself leaning in to the computer at work. (Need to give it up!)

Hope your ear/jaw sorts itself out. It seems like it's one thing after another doesn't it? And then you get a big kick and remember it's all worth it!

@ScubaGal id defo ditch bras and things and head to Myers or DJs. I'd recommend Triumph mat bras. They're not cheap about 60ish I think, but god they're comfortable. I bought two at 5 weeks as my boobs were so big and sore. I went from 12c pre IVF to 14dd at 5 weeks. Lady said to come back at 5-6 months to check fitting and see if I need bigger again.
    Good luck!

OMG soques can't beeline your MS is gone. Yay yay yay. I think you're the first one in this group. How many weeks are you again? From memory I think you're close to me.

I'm absolutely hanging out for it to end. We leave this Saturday for 10 days holiday up north WA. We've hired a camper and hope to get as far as Exmouth for some snorkelling / relaxing. I'm really hoping my MS disappears this week. 15wk today 😄

So, I have been contemplating my weight gain while pregnant. 1st time I put on 12kg (63 - 75kg or thereabouts) and breastfeeding got back to 60kg pretty quick. TTC #2 and IVF saw me at 65kg (drug induced ) when I fell pregnant and about 75kg at birth. So about 10-12kg gain each time. After #2 I have stayed at 72kg.... my babies have only been 3kg each - ouch. Anyway, I guess there isnt much point to my post other than the fact that I am hoping to not put too much weight on through this pregnancy... I have a mental barrier that I cant imagine going over (75kg) but I am not sure how that is going to work! Given my history I imagine I would get to 80kg (cringe) if i don't but am already panicked about it.... I dont think my skin will cope stretching to that (and im lucky i dont have an apron after 2 c secs - i dont want one now!) so now that I am starting to feel better with the ms, I thought I might start a personal pregnancy diet and fitness thread where I can keep myself accountable... does anyone else want to join in?

I'm interested. Last time I put on 22kg and it was truly '9 months on, 9 months off' for me. I nearly cracked 100kg and this time I'm a few kg up on my starting weight from last time. I'm tall -175cm - but still don't want to go over 100kg!

Hi @KitiK. Try looking at the Brewer Diet. I'm like you...been sick so to this point it's been at the back of my mind. Now I'm getting better, I need to take action. I'm starting prenatal yoga tonight too

    Welcome oic😊.
I have also had headaches for the last 3 days. I think mine was tension when I touched my shoulders and neck ouch! But I guess it all comes down to hormones. Went away to a friends for 2 nights didn't have a great time and had a little melt down loads of tears just a little embarrassing😳.
I am going to have to do the bra thing soon. Sigh. I hate spending money on bras.
    How did scan go nvandmv?
    Have a great trip happyma😀.
    I'm hearing u about the weight gain. It's a little scary😁.
