Had scan this morning. Heart beat beautiful and strong at 153bpm. Length 13.2mm ... Gestational age 7w4d so 2 days ahead of schedule :-)
So so happy and relaxed now

Congrats @woof5105! That must have been a relief and very exciting! Who is next for scans? Has anyone looked into the gender/heartbeat theory?

Congrats @woof5105! Must be amazing to see the wee heartbeat and know everything is ok.

My 7 week scan is this arvo. Terrified as last time bub was measuring behind and I miscarried 5 weeks later.

What's the heartbeat gender theory @KitiK?

Ps just had a 'lovely' moment in the shower in the middle of washing my hair.....had to jump out, dripping wet, stark naked, shampoo in hair to cuddle the toilet bowl and lose my breakfast. And then lost it all a second time back in the shower! Ahhh, isn't pregnancy just so glamorous!!!

An old wives tale - not scientific at all but:

"This theory states that if the foetal heart rate is above 140 beats per minute (BPM), then the baby is more likely to be a girl. If the heart rate is below 140 BPM then the chances are that the baby will be a boy." Source is the Huggies website for the above.

@Nezz79 how exciting!! 12 weeks has come around fast hasn't it? I'm a bit behind you (11+1) but it feels like it has flown - apart from the morning sickness! Bet you are looking forward to seeing your bubs - are you showing yet? I don't really ever look pregnant until the end. I am one of those that just looks fat/ thick around the middle (no fair!) I can't remember whether you transferred 1 or 2 (and if you know whether they are id or frat twins) or still waiting to work that out? I had the verifi so should know if everything else is good and what sex we are having late next week. Have booked my nuchal for 10 Oct - can't wait to see our #3!

Ladybug good luck and have fun! Also agree showers can be nasty sometimes hey. It will be over soon

Oohh re HB theory. What age scan is that for? Or doesn't it matter??

We're 14w3d and I'm looking very very pregnant. Technically I'm allowed to exercise now but having the energy is a totally different story lol. Still get a little walk in each day but can't wait to get back to normal.

I keep looking at the other thread of IVF bubs due Sept/Oct ie now and all the birth announcements and I just can't wait until that's our little group doing that too. Hooray.
