just a quick check in gals. All going well here. 6 weeks now, scan tomorrow to check baby in right spot etc. HCG been doubling as it should. Not high high hcg but ive been told to not worry about that as it is the doubling they want to see , which has been happening.

Went to the gp today because I am still worrying about not having enough symptoms. I've stopped needing to get up during the night to pee, my boobs are less sore and the queasiness has backed off a fair bit.

Currently waiting for a BT, and got a referral for a repeat scan. I was sort of expecting the gp to tell me off for worrying and say it's all going to be fine but she didn't she just took me seriously....
ah sweetheart , it's not an easy road, is it. People tell you to not worry because it's all out of your hands etc etc but when you so much love your baby long before it is due and before it has even been conceived I think it is only to be expected that you would be anxious. My husband said to me he would be worried if I wasn't anxious about it! it shows you how much you WANT this bubba. Go easy on yourself. I raced off my BT as well because of what you described...and little bean had doubled in HCG again. I was in the habit f checking my cervix every time I went to the loo as well. I have stopped all of that now as it was freaking me out! let us know how you get on. xxxx

Question...... why can't I be craving healthy things, like fruit or vegetables?? Why are the only foods that make me feel better seem to be Macca's fries or chicken burgers??? Heaven help me when I see the midwife, I hope she doesn't weigh me! I might have to start being good from here on in!

Best of luck tomorrow @blossom1! How exciting!
@nvandmv, I know what you mean. Seriously it has to be a fault in evolution! Shouldn't we be craving what's healthy. I'm a health food nut but can't even think of vegetables (other than hot chips!!!) without wanting to puke!

Just had my last hcg bloods back from the clinic so no more contact with them now. Feels so strange after waiting by the phone so often and for so long for them to call! Getting 7 week scan done privately on Thurs since clinic couldn't get me in until next week.
