Ahhh @ScubaGal. That's the worst. All the heaving & not much result. I'm mostly that way. Sucks sucks sucks but oh so worth it! Good luck for ur scan. It's so amazing. I felt so overwhelmed at my obs appt. Little heart was going 174bpm. Such cuteness

Hey newbies congrats and welcome to our little home away from home

Sorry to hear you've both been feeling sick lately girls I say EAT while you can and it feels good because you never know when it might change and you have to force feed yourself.

I've had a rough couple of days unfortunately. Had it good for a while with not much ADS but it's been back with a vengeance. Blah. Been super fatigued and soooo emotional. I swear I spent half the day today crying. Just from being over tired (and hormonal obviously) and demented I think. Sleep has been a bit crappy lately.

Anywho, new day soon and counting on it being a great one!

...and I'm up at 4:00am again...
Anyone else having to get up in the middle of the night to pee? I've always been able to sleep through the night and I'm not noticing any extra trips to pee during the day but it seems now my midnight stop has become a habit....

I'm going to eat a banana and see if that staves off the 6am queasiness...

I'm up to pee three or four times a night at the moment. It's super annoying. However I'm currently lying awake while my husband takes a turn putting our one year old to sleep (my turn lasted 45 min and didn't work).

oh you lucky thing - I have always been up at least 2 x a night to pee for as long as I can remember - sux when its at different times to a newborn = NO SLEEP!

If you are having trouble with nausea, your gp/ob will give you maxalon if you ask. It is the safest in pregnancy (or sometimes an anti histemine helps - pregnancy safe ones) I know people swear by zofran and it works apparently, I am just not sold on its total safety yet, its only been around a little while (for use during pregnancy) and would rather take nothing at all where possible or at least try the safest option first. I hope it is a quick bout for you, mine has eased off quite a lot now and Im only occassionally feeling queezy.

Ok I'm gonna ask a tmi question. Does anyone find that sex feels different now that you're pregnant? Specifically orgasm? I'm terrified I've killed the baby a day before my scan

Last night I had one and I could feel my uterus contract, which is terrifying because I've really had no noticeable cramps so far so to be suddenly aware of it for thirty seconds scared me to death and totally ruined any other good feelings.

Of course I've been googling away and Mayo Clinic says it's fine and the only cause for concern would be if it was still contracting for a couple of hours after but of course I'm still worried.

Is everyone else shagging? I've been too scared to till now and now I wish I hadn't.

@ScubaGal I've had sex twice since the ET and both times during orgasm I've had pain in both my ovaries and contracting uterus. The nurse said it was completely fine and just from the extra hormones. She said it won't hurt anything.

However, my DH has now informed me since the BFP yesterday that he is refusing to have sex for a while for fear of 'drowning the baby'!!! And we are both medical...

Thanks @Excited1 that makes me feel a bit better.

Last month we held off until the BFP was confirmed by BT and then we 'celebrated' and the day after that was when the next BT showed the pregnancy was failing so this time I've been holding off out of fear.
