Hi ladies - had my scan - only one bubba but has a healthy heartbeat and measuring on-size.

I can't imagine losing a bub that far along. Early miscarriages are hard enough, can't fathom.

Hi @HavingitAll congratulations! So-Gi at south-bank do the Harmony test which is the downs etc blood test. I'm having mine done there in a week and then my 12 week scan there in early October. They seem to be the main/only place in Brisbane, I recommend booking in early as they were quite booked out. If you want the Harmony test it is done from 10w3d. I'm having it done 14 days before my 12 week scan so the results of it are back from the states by the time of the 12w scan. They have a special $ deal if you book both together. Cheers Georgie

@Soques congratulations a boy! How exciting and excellent all results came back low risk. @ScubaGal re francesthecat I was thinking of her the other day and hoping it was going well, I'm searched under her name even to see how she was going. Life truly is not fair, if anyone ever deserved it she did after persevering so long.

AFM I had another huge bleed yesterday at work, I thought it was the end, it was worse than the last one. I just hobbled to my desk, grabbed my bag and ran to my car, I rang my obs and he squeezed me straight in. I miraculously kept it together driving myself to the hospital, hitting every red light possible etc. I know there is nothing they can do if it is over but I just wanted to know if bub was ok. Bub was fine - wriggling away. He couldn't see where the bleed was coming from as the other haemorrhage is still there and the same size so this one was new. He performed a procedure and pulled some big clots out so have been on bed rest since and it has eased right down. I'd put on 700gm by my week 9 scan and overnight since the bleed I'm back to my pre-pregnancy weight. All so weird but bub still sticking in there, dr hopeful all will settle down by 12 weeks. Bring that on!

Oh no @GeorgieNE take care of yourself. I'm scared that it's going to happen to me again too and I'm constantly going to the toilet checking.

When I was pregnant 1st time round I bought a device off eBay to listen to babys heart beat I pulled it out on the weekend and tried it thinking it would be too early but could hear it! I'm pretty sure there were two but one was really strong(loud) and the other a bit weaker. Amazing. Seeing my OB on wed so can't wait to see how they've grown.

All I'm doing at the moment is resting as I've come down with another virus and am so tired from being up with my DD the night before last as she had Gastro. FX that I don't get that!

@GeorgieNE, that would be terrifying. Thoughts are with you hun. So glad to hear bub is fine though. Probably completely oblivious to all the drama around him/her!! Take care and rest up.
@Nezz79, that's amazing that you can hear the heartbeats. Nice reassurance. I was thinking about a home Doppler too just to help keep the craziness in check!!

Just got some more blood results back and it's doubled in 43.4 hours! Yay! 5523 at 16dp6dt.

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies, I really am fine today so crisis seems to be averted. Just goes to show "there is no normal" in pregnancy um... haven't I heard that before? ah yes that was what the nurses kept saying during IVF! As nezz79 said am sure bub is oblivious to the goings on:-) I'm so thirsty today think my body is trying to make up for the loss yesterday. Great figures from all the ladies blood tests today, our group is certainly growing.
