Hope you feel better soon too @ladybug14!
Anyone have any suggestions for itchy stretch marks? I have about a thousand and not so worried about them in general but they are just so itchy...
Sorry @Soques, apart from keeping them well moisturised? Im not sure what else can be done? After the initial stretching it should settle a bit. I know its hot and sticky enough where you are without adding moisturiser to the mix, but thats all I got. Hope it lets up soon x
Ps: bio oil?
Hiya! we had our morph scan on Friday and I told hubby that if bub shows, we find out and if not, we don't.
This little icsi bub showed a third leg. Still hard to believe I'm growing a human in there, but ecstatic to be giving hubby the little boy he always wanted.
Thanks! I had a feeling he was a boy right from the start. Secretly, I hoped he wasn't a girl after one of my cousins told me she thought I was having a girl - that she just had a feeling... She has annoyed me one too many times recently. We are keeping it a secret from the works - except for here and the facebook group... And except for my step daughter's mum, apparently. She asked if she could tell her mum and we gave in. Only because we don't know anyone she knows.
Oh, dating scan put me due 1/6/15, but I didn't agree or believe him. 12 week scan and the 18 week scan put me due 29/5/15, which is closer to what I believe it should be.
Haha! It'd be nice to have a boy @Emrossall given you have a step daughter too. I have 2 x dds and now having a boy. I have to say at first i was worried about having another girl, although having a boy is nice, I'd have secretly been happy with another healthy girl. Its nice for DH to have a boy too - even though he wasn't too worried either way. He loves his girls
I still havent told anyone about the pg except immediate family and my boss (just the other day)...! What a suprise it will be.
Next hurdle is a name.... Anyone suggest boys names they like? We have a short list and although they sound ok, none of them are screaming at me....
Ps: my dates have changed a few times, not too worried as its only a few days here and there - not an issue really with a c-sec scheduled!
We've had a shortlist of names for a while - then hubby told Maddy one of the boy options and she made it clear she didn't like it. I got cranky - she really shouldn't get a choice of the name for our baby, as far as I'm concerned. I talked to hubby about it later and he said he was just curious what she thought. It just means that now I'm not sure how I'll feel if we go ahead with that name. Middle name for a boy was always going to be easy - I had a brother pass away 10 years ago. We're using his name as the Middle. Being a teacher makes the rest more difficult.
